Professor Martha Katz and her mother, Marcella Katz, reflect on their joint journey advocating for nuclear disarmament. Drawing from data and personal experiences from the 1960's until now, the talk will interest the policy-oriented, advocates, historians, geriatricians, dentists, public health nerds, the environmentally concerned, and anyone who enjoys a good story. There will be time for discussion and, of course, lots of food. This lunch talk is co-sponsored by Physicians for Human Rights (PHR), Students for Environmental Awareness in Medicine (SEAM), and Citizen Physician.
