Jill Jones

Co-Director

Jill Jones is an MS1 enrolled in the HST MD-PhD program (London Society). Her hometown is Raleigh, North Carolina and she graduated from Duke University in 2020. Her interests include foster care, Holocaust education, and medical ethics (especially anatomy). A fun fact is that she has a 3-year-old coonhound mix named Josie who would love to meet anyone & everyone! 

Current Role: Jill assists with and overseeing asylum clinic evaluations, curricular operations, and outreach/advocacy efforts by organizing and facilitating meetings, interfacing with advisors, and ensuring that adequate progress is being made on tasks and that group objectives are being met.

Rasheca Logendran

Program Director

Rasheca Logendran is an MS1 in the Pathways MD program. Her hometown is Raleigh, North Carolina and she graduated from Duke University in 2020. She has interest in refugees and post-conflict rebuilding measures. 

Current Role: Rasheca helps to run the HMS Asylum clinic. Most of her work involves coordinating with lawyers, folks from PHR, medical students, and our evaluators to ensure that we are able to provide evaluations for those who need it.

Mariam Dogar

Curriculum Coordinator

Mariam Dogar is a MS1 enrolled in the Pathways MD program. Her hometown is Northborough, MA and she graduated from MIT in 2020. In the past few years, Marian has worked on medical, humanitarian, and education projects with refugees and asylum-seekers. She is also very interested in the politicization of health and human rights. A fun fact is that she is Pakistani-American and was born in Singapore! 

Current Role: Mariam currently works on education/training within the HSHRC team. She also works to educate HMS students about various topics in human rights through advocacy, events, workshops, etc

Marta Williams 

Curriculum Coordinator 

Marta Williams is an MS1 enrolled in the Pathways MD program. Her hometown is Woodbury, Minnesota and she graduated from Luther College in 2019. A fun fact about Marta is that in the  summer of 2020 she completed an 18,000-piece puzzle!

Current Role: As one of the curriculum coordinators, Marta collaborates with students and the community to learn together about topics important/relevant to Human Rights.

Connor Bondarchuk

Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator

Connor Bondarchuk is an MS1 enrolled in the Pathways MD program. His hometown is Madison, Connecticut and he graduated from Dartmouth College in 2019. A fun fact about Connor is that he spent his two gap years working in Cape Town, South Africa. 

Current Role: Connor helps lead and oversee HSHRC's advocacy initiatives and outreach to the HMS/Harvard community.

Sandy Samuel

Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator

Sandy Samuel is an MS3 enrolled in the Pathways MD program. Her hometown is Staten Island, NY and she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019. Her interests include immigrant and global health as well as medical innovations that aim to increase healthcare access through affordable and portable technologies. 

Current Role: Sandy helps lead and oversee HSHRC's advocacy initiatives and outreach to the HMS and the larger community.

Avina Rami

Research Coordinator

Avina is an MS1 enrolled in the Pathways MD program. Her hometown is Morganville, New Jersey and she graduated from Rutgers University in 2019. Her interests are in improving access to healthcare for vulnerable populations, trauma-informed care, and mental health. 

Current Role: Avia helps to implement HSHRC research projects and facilitate partnerships & research studies with other medical schools.

Jessica Sun

General Board Member 

Jessica Sun is a MS3 enrolled in the Pathways MD program. Her hometown is Potomac, Maryland and she graduated from Dartmouth College in 2018. Her interests include immigrant health and maternal and child health. As a board member, she supports a wide range of HSHRC operations and projects.

Sheridan Rea

General Board Member 

Sheridan Rea is a MS2 enrolled in the HST MD program. Her hometown is Grover Beach, California and she graduated from Stanford University in 2019. Her interests include women's health, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, public health, emergency relief in natural disasters, and genocide.

Isita Tripathi

General Board Member

Isita Tripathi is an MS1 enrolled in the Pathways MD program. Her hometown is San Jose, California and she graduated from UCLA in 2020. Her interests include Resettlement and access to resources; justice and healthcare for incarcerated folks; and story-telling to increase awareness. She helps develop and support any initiatives within HSHRC.
