Welcome to the History of Medicine Working Group!
The History of Medicine Working Group is a graduate-student-led forum for the presentation and discussion of work in progress in the history of medicine. In addition, it fosters reflection on the craft of historical scholarship by inviting researchers and professionals to speak to the research and publication process and by discussing history of medicine scholarship. The Working Group is based in the Department of the History of Science at Harvard University.
The faculty sponsors of the working group are David Jones and Allan Brandt. The student co-coordinators for the 2023-2024 academic year are Abigail Higgins, Maud Jansen, Ben Maldonado, Francis Newman, and Osaremen Fortune Okolo.
