I am employed by the Michigan Education Association (MEA) as a UniServ Director. I am currently assigned to represent the Michigan State University Administrative Professional Association (MSU-APA) which is a large local with almost 3,000 bargaining unit members that work in over 300 different job classifications. I have a B.B.A. in Finance, and I am a licensed attorney. However, my work has been solely focused on union representation/advocacy for many years now. Additionally, I have held several union offices/positions as a member of my own local/state/national unions. I am an HTUP Alumni from 2019 and found my participation to be life-changing. I am excited to attend HTUP again to build upon the knowledge that I currently have and to gain new perspectives to face ongoing and new challenges that I face when bargaining and enforcing contracts and advocating for my members.
