Internship position at the Health Systems in Emergencies Lab (HSEL), WHO/EMRO/HSD


The HSEL has a specific focus on health system strengthening for universal health coverage adapted to fragile, conflict-affected and vulnerable countries, serving the most vulnerable populations including migrants and forcibly displaced people, and ensuring preparedness under the International Health Regulations (IHR) (2005) and all-hazards plans. The HSEL is intended to be a “Lab for All” those programmes, at all three levels of WHO, that seek innovative approaches to health system resilience, especially in the context of fragile, conflict-affected and vulnerable countries.
 
The Internship position is best suitable for fresh Master’s graduates. It is a three month position with possibility of extension to six months. The Intern will be assigned to activities related to HSEL research, publications and communications. Fluency in English speaking and writing are required.
