The 10th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF 2021)

From October 5 to 8, 2021 EXPOFORUM hosted the 10th Anniversary St. Petersburg International Gas Forum, where business leaders met and discusses topics relevant for the global gas industry.

SPIGF dates back to 2011. In just 10 years the Forum has become the most reputable discussion venue that keeps developing. Every year, the Forum captures attention of relevant Government officials, as well as members of the business, academic and expert communities. Following the results of the event, there are elaborated specific and comprehensive recommendations for the sustainability and progress of the oil and gas industry in both the short- and long-term perspective.

The 2021 agenda of the Forum featured 20 business tracks. This time the Forum covered not only the traditional issues, but also some new essential aspects, including sustainable development of the sector, unconventional gas, the legal aspects of the oil and gas business, logistics and transport and use of helium.

The session “Technological Progress and Future of the Hydrocarbon Economy” on October 5 moderated by Sergey Korotkov, and Andrey Berezin.  Yuriy Moseikin, RUDN University, Roman Lyadov, GTLK, Ajay Kumar, FOX RUBICON, Shishir Shrotriya, Embassy of India, Kazi Sohag, Ural Federal University, Satya Hangga Yudha, Indonesian Energy and Environmental Institute, Denisov Denis, RariTEK Holding JSC, and Daria Builova, Volgogradneftemash JSC, discussed important aspects of Natural Gas Industry in BRICS and emerging markets.
