Aditya Charegaonkar (Yatri) is the Development consultant of research and training to various Non-Government Organizations which are working on Child rights, reformation in alternative care, and the development of Youth Care Leavers. He has been serving in various government bodies related to consulting the state for adequate participation and planning in the field of Alternative care. He has published research and work articles related to his contribution towards development in the field of Youth Care leavers and reformation of the Aftercare Programme in the context of the Indian Child care and protection system. He was also involved in various field action research projects which were laid by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and UNICEF, India and other well known NGOs in India related to Tribals, Children at the street situation, Children at School Drop out and Primary School going children. These all were contributed to enhance the progress amongst the disadvantaged background while his personal leadership enhanced. At present, he is completing a Ph.D. on "The Journey of Orphan and Destitute Youth in Aftercare Programme in Maharashtra" from Tata Insitute of Social Sciences, Mumbai which will be helpful to strengthen the existed aftercare resources for better support towards Young adult orphans while transitioning from institutional care.
