The eighteenth book, Imposing, Maintaining, and Tearing Open the Iron Curtain: The Cold War and East-Central Europe, 1945-1989 edited by Mark Kramer and Vít Smetana, includes essays by some twenty experts on the Cold War and its impact on East-Central Europe, including five essays by Kramer.  The book has been praised as a “superb collection” that offers the “best research available on this subject, all with excellent editing.”
