Ben graduated from Williams College in 2015. There he worked with Prof. Tiku Majumder on precision spectroscopy of indium atoms. He joined the Doyle group in 2015, focusing on the laser cooling and trapping of CaF. In 2018, he began work to laser cool YbOH as part of the PolyEDM collaboration. When not playing with his lasers in lab, Ben enjoys trying to teach his puppy-niece, Annabelle, about science. Unfortunately, she is afraid of LEDs.
