Xing is a Research Associate, working in the ACME collaboration. His main work is about probing electron electric dipole moment by measuring the spin precession in a beam of cold thorium monoxide molecules. He completed his doctoral degree at Max-Planck-Institute of Quantum Optics in the group of Gerhard Rempe, working on cooling and deceleration of polyatomic molecules, and cold dipolar collisions in electrostatic trap.
