Afaf Al Blooshi

 

Afaf Sulaiman Alblooshi, MD, GCPRS, PhD, Afaf is a licensed Medical practitioner, Medical Educator, and researcher at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences (United Arab Emirates University). Afaf obtained her Medical degree from Dubai Medical College in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; A Graduate Certificate in Pediatric Respiratory Science (GCPRS) and a PhD from University of Western Australia in Perth, Australia. Afaf areas of professional interest include clinical skills teaching, Pediatric Respiratory diseases and childhood obesity.

Taylor Boyd

 

 

 

 

Taylor Boyd is a rising fourth year medical student at Harvard Medical School. Taylor completed her bachelor’s of science in neurobiology at the University of Washington. She is a research assistant at MGH, and the lead student liaison for the SNMA Curriculum Development Task Force at HMS. Taylor’s professional interests include simulation-based medical education and clinical skills curriculum development.

Pedro Campos

 

 

 

 

 

Pedro Bernardino Campos, BMBS, MSc is a resident in Family Medicine in Sydney, with a background in Emergency Medicine, ICU and Anaesthetics with a special interest in Medical Education. Pedro completed his medical degree at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and his Masters in Sports Medicine at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Pedro currently holds a position of Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales as part of the Medical School. Pedro’s areas of professional interest include: Curriculum Design, Assessment Design, Educational Neuroscience, integration of principles from neuroscience into different educational platforms (physical or virtual) including distance learning and simulation.

Nauman Chatha

 

 

 

Nauman R Chatha DDS, MSD, FRCD(C) is a practicing and academic Endodontist based in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated from dental school at NYU College of Dentistry and subsequently attended a General Practice Residency at Yale University. After this, he specialized with an MSD in the specialty of Endodontics from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. His thesis was focused on Regenerative Endodontics using stem cells from the apical papilla. He is a passionate teacher and maintains faculty appointments at Boston University, Harvard University, and the Boston VA Healthcare System where he has been involved with curriculum changes and updates. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He is a recipient of the McCahan teaching award from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. His interests revolve around implementation of Digital Dentistry in Endodontics and research-based curriculum advances for graduate and postgraduate students. Nauman is also an officer in the United States Army Dental Corps where he has proudly served for the past 11 years and received multiple achievement medals.

Taouba Douibi

 

 

 

 

 

 

Taouba Douibi, M.D. is an entrepreneur in the field of medical education. She graduated from Algiers medical school – Algeria in 2013. She is the cofounder and main instructor in the platform DSE [Doctors Speak English] whose mission is to foster medical education in English for non-English speaking doctors to help them become active players in the international medical community. Taouba’s areas of professional interests include blended learning and curriculum development using both technology and storytelling.

Christopher Jaeger

 

Chris Jaeger, MD is a Pediatric Urology fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital. Chris received his medical degree from the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and completed his Urologic surgery residency at The Ohio State University. Chris’s areas of professional interest include evaluation of surgical training inequities, curriculum development, and feedback delivery mechanisms.

Danielle Raja, DNP is an Assistant Professor of Nursing education at Regis College in Weston, MA and a Dermatology Certified NP. Danielle completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons College. Danielle’s areas of professional interest include curriculum development, education in the areas of research and statistics for health-professions students, and the science of learning.

Carolina Rincon

 

 

 

 

 

Carolina Rincón, MD, is a Medical Educator and Obstetric Anesthesiologist at McGill University Health Center. Carolina completed her medical degree at Universidad del Rosario and her specialty degree in Anesthesiology at Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. Carolina currently holds a position as fellow in Obstetric Anesthesia at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Carolina’s areas of professional interest include ways of teaching humanization, empathy and communication skills; the role of simulation in anesthesia training and medical educators’ role in improving resilience and mental wellbeing in residents.

Louis-Philippe Thibault

 

Louis-Philippe Thibault, MD, BBA is a Medical Doctor specialized in general pediatrics. Louis-Philippe has a bachelor’s degree in business administration specialized in finance and economics from HEC Montreal and a medical degree from the University of Montreal. He completed his residency training in general pediatrics at Sainte-Justine University Hospital Center. Louis-Philippe is expected to return to the University of Montreal to a position as an Assistant Clinical Professor, Research staff and Pediatrician at Sainte-Justine’s. Louis-Philippe’s areas of professional interest include governance in higher education, curriculum development and ethics in medical education research.
