Scott Luro

Scott joined the Systems Biology Department at HMS in 2013. He is currently a PhD student in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences program, developing tools to image and screen individual live cells in the Paulsson lab. Prior to graduate school, he studied biochemistry and plant biology at Cornell University.

Doaa joined the department in 2015 as a post-doc in Marc Kirschner’s lab. She has a long-standing passion for biology, particularly studying old-standing physiological questions using modern-day tools, often borrowed from other disciplines.

Seungeun Oh

Seungeun is currently a postdoc in the Marc Kirschner lab and working as an instructor developing and teaching nonlinear Raman microscopy methods. She studied physics at Seoul National University and obtained a PhD in physics at MIT.

Assya

Anastasiya Yakhnina

PhD

Assya has been at HMS as a postdoc since 2013, but only joined the System Biology Department in 2019, becoming a lab director in the Paulsson lab. She has since returned to the Microbiology Department, but retains great fondness for the social awareness and enthusiasm of the people in Systems Biology.
