Arijeet K Gattu
Dr. Ari Gattu is a clinical fellow in Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School, Division of Endocrinology and a research fellow in Ronald Kahn's lab at Joslin Diabetes Center. His research focuses on understanding the dysregulation of insulin signaling in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. He is currently using human iPSC derived hepatocyte-like-cells as an in vitro model to understand the mechanisms of insulin resistance. He sees patients at Brigham and Woman's Hospital and is interested in lipid biology, and diabetes. Prior to joining Dr. Kahn's lab, he completed his post-doctoral training at the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Yale University/VA Medical Center where he studied gluconeogenesis, and subsequently completed his internal medicine residency training. Ari loves to run, and paint.
