Thiago M. Batista
Dr. Thiago Batista has a M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Physiology from the University of Campinas (Campinas, SP, Brazil). Works as a Research Fellow in C. Ronald Kahn's Lab since 2015. His research is mostly aimed at: 1- Unconvering a role of alpha arrestins upon metabolic control and insulin signaling. 2- Modeling insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes by using human pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Devotes his free time to guitar playing, cooking and movies.
