Eleni is a PhD candidate at Harvard University in the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Her current research focuses on aerosol particles and especially on their formation, chemical mechanism and chemical-kinetic behavior. She also studies the VOC emissions from rubber surfaces and their environmental impacts as well as their health impacts on humanity. In the past she has studied the environmental fate of organic nanopollutants in aquatic systems, emphasizing in fullerene nanomaterials.

Eleni is interested in environmental issues in atmospheric and aquatic systems as well as in research of fate of nanopollutants in human body. She earned her undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering at Technical University of Crete, Greece.
