Location: The conference Party-Building (and Non-Building) in Latin America is scheduled to take place at Harvard University on November 16-17, 2012 at 1737 Cambridge St., room K354 (found on the third level of the Knafel Building), Cambridge, MA 02138.

Directions: You have the option to take a taxi from Boston Logan Airport to the Sheraton Commander, 16 Garden St., Cambridge, MA 02138 or public transport.

Air travel: Since most of you are flying into Boston, we have arranged for you to book your flights through our Travel Agent, Susan McGonagle. We are covering the cost of your air travel directly, so you will not need to provide any payment information when you book. Please email her ( as soon as you can with the following information:

1.       Include “Party-Building Conference” in your subject line

2.       The city you are flying in from

3.       The dates and approximate times you prefer to fly

4.       Your full passport name / gender / and date of birth

5.       A phone contact

Ground transportation: Since some of you will be arriving by train, please contact Marina Ivanova at to obtain information on how much we’ve budgeted for train tickets, and to let her know your arrival and departure dates and itineraries for reimbursement purposes.

Taxi fares: For those who will take taxis, please retain your receipts for reimbursement. We will provide reimbursement forms in your conference folders.

Hotel: 13 rooms have been blocked out at the Sheraton Commander for conference participants. Please contact to confirm your arrival and departure dates. We are covering room and tax only at the hotel for the conference dates, though you may of course stay longer at your own expense.
