About Us

Welcome to the Harvard Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Students at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Association! Our group provides a community and safe space for graduate students who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, as well as students who are questioning or who self-identify as an LGBTQ+ ally. We ensure that LGBTQ+ voices have an established and respected place within the graduate community and Harvard's administration. Our monthly events include fun social gatherings, educational workshops on LGBTQ+ topics, activism to engage with real-world issues, and professional development in various fields. We are an intersectional organization, recognizing and celebrating the multitude of experiences within the LGBTQ+ community. We consciously support LGBTQ students from many ethnic, class, and religious backgrounds, and spread awareness that intersectional identities are greater than the sum of their parts.

If you'd like to connect with us and with other LGBTQ+ students at Harvard, join our mailing list and join us on Engage.  We would love to welcome you to our beautiful, queer community!
