About:

The Erevna Machine Learning Fellowship is an immersive two-month virtual fellowship program for high school and college students providing both mentorship and a monetary grant to work with a startup, tech company, or principal investigator as a machine learning engineer or research intern.

 

Eligibility and Application:

To be eligible for the Erevna Machine Learning Fellowship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a student pursuing either a college degree or high school diploma. 
  • Must be proficient in algorithmic concepts and topics in your concentration within machine learning.

Our application process consists of two rounds, an application form and a technical interview. Entry is merit-based, competitive, and open only to degree-seeking students. Students taking a gap year are also welcome to apply. We accept international students as well, but we are unable to make case-based arrangements for fellows living in time zones outside of the contiguous United States.

Mentorship:

Fellows receive mentorship from experts in the field of machine learning from both industry and academia including engineers and scientists at top technology companies as well as professors from top research institutions such as Harvard and MIT. Our partners will provide 1-2 mentors for each fellow over the course of their internship. Fellows are encouraged to build connections with their mentors and will receive access to exclusive events such as guest speaker panels featuring various changemakers, workshops, and networking events. We seek to connect our fellows to the jobs of tomorrow in the field of machine learning.

Funding:

Students receive a grant of up to $3,000 for their work. The amount of money awarded to each fellow will vary based on factors including their specific needs and area of interest, as well individual performance over the course of the internship.
