April 2016 update:

Emebet Kebede is joined by Maereg Gebregziabher in Addis Ababa to train researchers who will be coding existing customary justice research studies, a novel mapping exercise Harvard Kennedy School Program in Criminal Justice is undertaking in Ethiopia.

January 2016 update:

Mila Cerecina and Emebet Kebede (Harvard Kennedy School Program in Criminal Justice) traveled to Addis Ababa to work with various partners on research and indicator development projects across the sector. They were joined by research affiliate Maereg Gebregziabher.

December 2015 update:

Dr Andres Rengifo (Rutgers University; Harvard Kennedy School Program in Criminal Justice) is in Colombia conducting observation in courtrooms of bail proceedings, as part of a larger observation project in courtrooms in several jurisdictions including New York, New Jersey, and Brazil.

November 2015 update:

Jason Wilks (Harvard Kennedy School Program in Criminal Justice) is traveling to Ethiopia to work with our partners on indicator development that takes account of the needs of the whole justice sector.
