Ingy Madi, MD
I obtained my medical degree from the University of Alexandria, Egypt. In 2016, I joined Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA)/ USC Roski Eye Institute’s ocular oncology and glaucoma services. My research mainly focused on Imaging studies. In collaboration with University of Washington, we studied the macular microcirlculation in primary open angle glaucoma eyes using a prototype software which provides a new quantitative method for the assessment of the macular vessel parameters using spectral domain optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). Also, I studied the features of the optic nerve in children with retinoblastoma using Magnetic resonance imaging (MRIs). In 2017, I joined MEEI’s glaucoma service and I’m currently studying 3D imaging of the eye using spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT).
Besides medicine, I enjoy travelling and playing squash.
