Welcome to the website of the 35th annual Northeast Conference on Andean and Amazonian Archaeology and Ethnohistory. We are pleased to host the NECAAAE at Harvard University on October 15-16, 2016. Conference attendees will have free access to the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology by showing their name badges at the front desk. Be sure to visit the new Nasca Ceramics exhibit located on the third floor of the museum!
Friday morning we have an exciting pre-conference event taking place in the Tozzer Anthropology Building. Micheal Heckenberger, Afukaka Kuikuro, Carlos Fausto, and Takumã Kuikuro will present a talk titled "Social Life of Resarch and Life History of Casa da Cultura Kuikuro, Upper Xingu in the Brazilian Amazon."
