Hector Arroyo De La Paz is a graduate student at Harvard Divinity School where he’s pursuing a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree with a focus in Religion, Ethics, and Politics. Hector also works as a First-Year Proctor at Harvard College.

Prior to Harvard, Hector attended UC Santa Cruz where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies & Latin American and Latino Studies. After graduating in spring of 2019, he worked as an immigration paralegal in Los Angeles, CA. He spent his free time assisting first-generation, low-income high school students apply to college through Dream Generation, an initiative that he founded with his younger sister, Leslie.

As a first-generation, DACA student, Hector understands the unique challenges that underrepresented students face while navigating the college process. It is because of this that he has made it his mission to assist these students and ensure that they have the necessary resources and support to attend and succeed in college.
