Noah Greifer's profile pictureNoah Greifer has been a member of the Data Science Services team at IQSS since August 2021. He earned his BS in Psychology from UC San Diego, worked in the Office of Institutional Research at Reed College, and earned his MA and PhD in Quantitative Psychology at UNC Chapel Hill before a brief post-doc in the Department of Mental Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He specializes in causal inference methods for observational studies, including propensity score matching and weighting methods, and has written or maintains several R packages designed to implement these methods, including 'WeightIt', 'MatchIt', 'cobalt', and 'MatchThem', among others. He loves mint chip ice cream, new music, and sudoku.
