Forbes: "Want To Work Longer? Careful, Your Fifties Define Your Sixties"

Forbes exposes this wakeup call from the book "Overtime: America's Aging Workforce and the Future of Working Longer:" More than half of Americans don't work consistently throughout their 50s, and since working consistently throughout one's 50s is a strong determinent of whether one works into their 60s, clearly there is problem with the "plan" that we can all just delay retirement in response to living a longer life. Co-editors Lisa Berkman and Beth Truesdale share findings from their book and explain why "retirement policy = labour policy = family policy = health care policy."
