Director, Public Service Network & First Year Urban Program
Varsha Ghosh serves as Director of the Public Service Network, as well as the First Year Urban Program (FUP), a pre-orientation program for first year students. She acts as a key advisor over 40 public service programs in areas of risk manageent, program development, finance and fundraising, volunteer and community relations. Originally from Queens, NY, she is a graduate of Connecticut College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is currently a doctoral candidate in education at University of Massachusetts-Boston. Varsha has over fifteen years of experience in the non-profit sector, with international and national experience. She has managed programs in philanthropy, human service and community development programs focused on youth development, leadership training, domestic violence, anti-hunger and adult education. She is an alumnus of both AmeriCorps VISTA and the Peace Corps. In her free time, Varsha serves on the board of a local community development corporation, and relaxes by planning her next big international trip, hiking and binging on Netflix.
