PPIUD Abstracts Accepted for Presentation at the Population Association of America Annual Meeting 2020

A number of PPIUD Study abstracts were selected by the PAA conference committee for either oral or poster presentation during their annual meeting scheduled to take place in Washington, D.C., April 22-25, 2020.

Leigh Senderowicz will give an oral presentation entitled, "The effect of a postpartum IUD intervention on counseling quality and contraceptive method choice in Tanzania: Results from a cluster-randomized trial." Muqi Guo will also deliver an oral presentation entitled, "Understanding the Effects of Family Planning Counseling on Short Birth Intervals: A Mediation Analysis of a Cluster-Randomized Intervention in Nepal."

Two abstracts were accepted for poster presentation. Kristy Hackett will present, "Evaluating the implementation of an intervention to improve postpartum contraception in Tanzania: A qualitative study of provider and client perspectives," and Julia Rohr will present, "Impact of a Post-Partum IUD Intervention in Tanzania: Contraceptive Use and Fertility After Two Years."
