Two graduate students in the Prigozhin lab have received PhD Fellowships. Arvind Srinivasan, from the Applied Physics program, and Ami Thakrar, from the Health, Science, and Technology program at MIT and Harvard, were each awarded QBio Student Fellowships supported by the NSF-Simons Center for Mathematical & Statistical Analysis of Biology at Harvard University. The NSF-Simons Center is a part of the Quantitative Biology Initiative at Harvard, and its major focus is to train early-career researches who will emerge as leaders in the field.
Ami Thakrar also received the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program. This Fellowship recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and methematics disciplines.
Congratulations to both Ami and Arvind on their awards!
