I am a social scientist with training in medical anthropology and public health. Broadly speaking, I am interested in political economy and social determinants of health and how these structures play a role in the formation of conceptualizations, attitudes, and behaviors of health and illness among ethnic/sexual/economic minorities (i.e., the interplay between structure and agency).
