I'm a second-generation Mexican-American and a third year doctoral student in Social and Behavioral Sciences and Public Health Nutrition at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. I'm interested in community-based policies and programs that address inequities and reduce health disparities. My work is based at home in Alaska, where I work with a team at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium to design, implement, and evaluate culturally-responsive online cancer education in partnership with Alaska’s Community Health Aides and Practitioners.
