Founded nearly 20 years ago, Swissnex acts to promote diplomacy in science and technology between Switzerland and the US. Since its founding in Cambridge, it has grown to open outposts across the globe, including San Francisco, Shanghai, Bangalore, and Rio de Janeiro. Based on Swissnex Boston's location, nestled between renown universities and technology companies, it plays an extremely important role in fostering innovation and collaboration between Swiss institutions and those in the Boston ecosystem, and advancing scientific interests abroad. Join us to learn about the work they do and its relation to science policy and science diplomacy, as well as about career pathways related to these topics!

What: Visit to the Swissnex office of Boston with the Harvard GSAS Science Policy group
Why: To learn about how science diplomacy, and the role Swissnex plays in developing and promoting innovation between Switzerland and the US, as well as careers in science diplomacy
When: Wednesday, December 19th at 10am
