McCarthy

WHERE: MCZ Building, Room 440 (Harvard University Center for the Environment @ 26 Oxford St. Cambridge)

This event will be limited to the first 20 who RSVP.

Join us as we learn about Administrator McCarthy’s experience leading the Environmental Protection Agency under President Obama from 2013 to January 2017. We will discuss her views on environmental health and climate change, how young scientists can be most effective in addressing these critical issues, her take on the U.S. pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement, tools on how to depoliticize science and communicate better with the public, her perspective on what is happening with the EPA currently, or anything else you are interested in! This should be a very frank discussion with a world leader on environmental issues who never shies away from sharing her honest views.
