Jeff utilizes experimental methods to study social judgments of what we believe other people believe, in particular about us, and how biases in these judgments drive negative behaviors. Jeff examines this dynamic across moral decision-making, organizational reputation, and political cooperation. He recently completed his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Psychology from Harvard.
As part of the Sidanius Lab, Jeff researched how social dominance orientation drove leniency toward corporate misconduct, and how those high in SDO anthropomorphize for-profit corporations.
In August of 2020 Jeff will be joining Clemson University as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Disinformation Laboratory, where he will pursue research on the psychology of disinformation. Jeff hold a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Maine at Farmington and an M.A. in Social Science from the University of Chicago.
