Saakshi Kakar is a graduate from Wesleyan University, with a double major in Psychology and the Science in Society Program. Over the course of this summer, she has been working with Shujianing on studying pride and perceptions of East Asian American leaders. She plans to continue her journey with psychology by earning a PhD in Clinical Psychology as a step towards her goals of teaching psychology in higher education and setting up a private practice.  In her free time, Saakshi enjoys reading, baking, and watching reality television.
