Sasha's primary line of research focuses on the psychological underpinnings of intergroup conflict. She is particularly interested in the consequences of emphasizing inter-ethnic similarities and differences and has recently examined this within the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In a related line of research, Sasha examines how psychological mechanisms underlying intergroup interactions vary by culture. Sasha graduated from University of Michigan with a Ph.D. in Social Psychology in 2013.
