Sarah Duncan is thrilled to be working at IQSS supporting Social Science research using Linux.  Sarah has an undergraduate degree in Engineering and Applied Science, and a Masters in Divinity, both from Harvard, so this job satisfies both aspects of her interests.  Sarah has worked at Harvard before, as webweaver for the Department of Genetics at the Medical School, and for eleven and a half years as Jill of all IT trades for the Harrison/Wiley x-ray crystallography labs in the Biochemistry department.  Most recently, Sarah worked for eight years at WGBH as a UNIX, Storage, and Windows Systems Administrator.

Sarah lives in Boston's North End with her wife Reay and two cats.  She speaks Spanish, which she learned in school, and Tamil, which she learned during a college year abroad in Madurai, India.  She loves reading, learning new things, travel, cooking, yoga, crafts, and glass bead making and fusing.
