Ziyun  Deng


Ziyun Deng graduated from the EdM program at Harvard Graduate School of Education and is a fourth year doctoral student in the Human Development and Education Concentration at HGSE now. Ziyun obtained her B.A. in English Language and Literature from Peking University, China, and an M.Ed. degree on Second Language Education and Culture from University of Maryland-College Park. She also worked for National Foreign Language Center at University of Maryland, and has experience teaching in both China and in United States before starting her doctoral study. Ziyun’s research interest is in Human Development and Psychology, especially children and adults’ language development and second language acquisition. She is also interested in innovative curriculum development and assessment for students learning foreign languages.
