Dates: June 2, 3, & 4; 2020.
Time: 12 noon - 2:15pm Pacific Time
ORGANIZERS: Michael Hermele (Boulder), Shamit Kachru (Stanford), Ashvin Vishwanath (Harvard)
Topics: This interdisciplinary meeting will focus on highly entangled states of quantum matter (Ultra Quantum Matter) that go beyond the Landau paradigm of classical orders. Topics will include classifying and characterizing topological phases and fracton matter, quantum field theory dualities and other strong coupling approaches to gapless phases, quantum information perspectives and the exploration of novel platforms to realize and probe highly entangled quantum states in the laboratory.
