Dr. Owolabi and Dr. Akinyemi present: "Women’s experiences with Misoprostol use in Lagos, Nigeria: Study design and preliminary findings"

 

Akanni Akinyemi is a Takemi Fellow with the Department of Global Health and Population. His research interest is in sexual and reproductive health. He is a Professor of Demography at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.

Onikepe Owolabi Works at the Guttmacher Institute as a Senior Research Scientist in the International department., Her research interests are in measuring the burden of unsafe abortion, maternal morbidity and measuring and evaluating the quality of maternal and reproductive health services in low- and middle-income countries. She earned a bachelor of medicine/bachelor of surgery degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, an MSc in global health science from the University of Oxford and a PhD in epidemiology and population health at LSHTM.
