Date:

Saturday, July 15, 2023 (All day)

Location:

1730 Cambridge Street, Cambridge MA 02138

Program Agenda

Watchin the video on Youtube

Sponsored by the Spatial Data Lab (SDL)*, this symposium aims to promote replicable and expandable spatiotemporal data science with advanced methodology and innovative technology. The symposium will discuss open data sources, advanced methodology, and cutting-edge technology for spatiotemporal data analysis as well as their applications across different fields, including public health, business and economy, social media, remote sensing, environment, and education.

The symposium will feature plenary speakers, parallel sessions, and posters. The program will include onsite (for July 15) and online sessions (for July 15 and 16). The organization committee plans to select a group of high-quality papers presented at the symposium and recommend them for publishing in a special issue at a prominent journal in the area of spatiotemporal data science. Papers submitted for consideration of the special issue still need to go through a regular review process. This symposium will offer an excellent opportunity for participants to network, collaborate, and learn about recent developments in spatiotemporal data science.

There will be a five-day Summer Workshop on Spatiotemporal Innovation before the symposium. Please visit  https://projects.iq.harvard.edu/chinadatalab/event/summer-workshop-spatiotemporal-innovation for more information.
