Jie Ying, MA

Jie Ying was a former preceptor in Chinese Language Program at Harvard University (2013-2022). She received her M.A. degree in bilingual and bicultural education from Columbia University. She has been teaching Chinese at all levels on both heritage and non-heritage tracks at different universities including Princeton University, Columbia University and University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests include second language acquisition, teaching methodology, curriculum design and instructional technology. Outside of work she enjoys painting, cooking, traveling and UX/UI design. After leaving Harvard, she is still working as the designer of our Chinese Language Curriculum website.
