Elysia Larson, PhD, will present, "Targeting mental health among pregnant women living with depression and HIV: results from a cluster randomized controlled trial in urban Tanzania."
Dr. Larson is a post-doctoral research fellow in the Biostatistics Department at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Scientific Director for the McGoldrick Professional Development Program in Public Health. Through her research and education efforts, Dr. Larson aims to improve health system quality and responsiveness in sub-Saharan Africa and North America. She uses epidemiologic and econometric methods to measure and evaluate the quality of maternal healthcare. Her current research focuses on patient experience of care and maternal mental health.
